[glow=red,2,300]Black Lightning[/glow]
The sky was leaden and the leaves of the high trees were dripping water constantly. Black Lightning strode through the dense ferns into an a dry area with no ferns, as the thunder boomed and the lightning flashed. His eyes were wide with fear as he stood, shaking from the cold. Again, the thunder boomed, scaring the horse. Black Lightning was drenched in freezing rain, longing for a stable to shelter in like the tamed horses. But he constantly refused to be tamed, staying in his wild status. No one would tame him, no one would use the stallion as a cart horse. Lightning shook himself, spraying water in all directions. Never give up, he told himself don't be a wimp. A flash of lightning later, he galloped in a mad frenzy to a more sheltered part of the forest, but before he reached the area, he slipped in the muddy clearing and fell awkwardly on his knees. Struggling in the slippery mud, Lightning stood up, crippled by the pain in his right foreleg. He limped the final few steps, then examined his weak leg. It turns out that when he'd fell he'd kicked the leg and now it was dripping blood. Suddenly, his good leg could no longer support him, and he lay down, glad to finally be sheltered for the horrendous weather.
